Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to stand for re-election as a Director for the Board of The Police Credit Union. I feel that the experience and education that I gained in my first term as a board member makes me a strong candidate for a return to this position, and to best represent the interests of our members.
During my first term I was a member of several committees and currently chair the Enterprise Risk Management Committee. I recently completed the Credit Union Director Achievement program, and use the knowledge and skills from that program in my role as a Director.
I retired from Halton Regional Police Service, after a twenty-nine-year career, in 2023. Throughout my career, and involvement with the Police Association, I was a member of many committees. I believe that the success of any Board depends on the integrity and commitment of the individual Directors. It is important for a Board to be united and cohesive in all matters and to maintain a cooperative relationship with the executive team of the Credit Union. I believe that the TPCU Board of Directors have successfully managed that relationship.
The Police Credit Union provides exemplary client service and responsible asset management to all the members and their families. It is especially that this Board is composed of individuals that will be dedicated and committed to the success and sustainability of the organization. I believe that I am an excellent candidate to continue to represent the best interests of the Credit Union as a whole and each of the individual members.
Regards,
Rob Todd
